The Yamaha F4BMHS is a compact and portable outboard motor that is ideal for inflatable boats, dinghies or as an auxiliary motor. With a weight of just 27 kg and an integrated carrying handle, it is easy to transport. The 4-stroke single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 139 cm³ delivers 4 hp and impresses with its low fuel consumption and low noise and vibration levels.
Easy manual starting is guaranteed thanks to the reliable CDI ignition. The built-in 1.1-liter fuel tank enables flexible use, and an external tank can also be connected. With 180° steering, the F-N-R shift system (forward-neutral-reverse) and the shallow water position, the F4BMHS is suitable for both narrow harbors and open waters. The robust Yamaha technology and compact design make it the ideal solution for leisure captains and yacht owners.

TRIPLE STORAGE OPTIONS
Thanks to the special, leak-proof oil system and the retractable control handle, the engine can be safely stored on the front, right or left side - for convenient transportation and storage.
INTEGRATED TRANSPARENT FUEL TANK
The integrated 1.1-liter fuel tank is extremely practical for transport and creates space on the deck of small boats. The semi-transparent tank makes it easy to refill and check the fuel level. A built-in primer pump ensures easy starting.
OIL LEAKAGE PROTECTION SYSTEM
Yamaha's oil leakage protection system allows the engine to be safely stored on the front, left or right side - without worrying about oil leaks during transportation or storage.
SIMPLE STARTING SYSTEM WITH DECOMPRESSION
The engine is equipped with an automatic decompression system on the camshaft. This system reduces the pressure in the cylinder during the starting process and enables easy and convenient manual starting.
ERGONOMIC CARRYING AND CONTROL HANDLES
Large, comfortable handles at the front and rear of the motor make it easy to carry, install and remove. The control handle can be folded back compactly to make transportation even easier.
CONNECTION FOR EXTERNAL FUEL TANK
For greater range and more comfort, this engine has a switchover function for the quick connection of an additional external fuel tank - if required.
TWO-WAY GAS CONTROL
Throttle control is via a two-way cable instead of a conventional return spring. This ensures long-term durability, additional safety and a more precise steering feel.
ANTI-CORROSION PAINT SYSTEM
Yamaha engines are known for their longevity and high resale value. Part of this is thanks to the unique corrosion protection system. A special YDC-30 aluminum alloy and 5-stage exterior paint protect the engine's external components, while high-quality marine-grade stainless steel parts are used throughout.
