The Yamaha F8FMHS is a lightweight and portable outboard motor with 8 hp, ideal for inflatable boats, dinghies or as an auxiliary motor. With a weight of just 40 kg and an integrated carrying handle, it is easy to transport. The 4-stroke two-cylinder engine with a displacement of 212 cm³ impresses with its low fuel consumption and low noise and vibration levels.
Easy manual starting is guaranteed thanks to the reliable CDI ignition. An external 12-liter fuel tank enables flexible use. With 180° steering, the F-N-R shift system (forward-neutral-reverse) and the shallow water position, the F8FMHS is suitable for both narrow harbors and open waters. The robust Yamaha technology and compact design make it the ideal solution for leisure captains and yacht owners.

With the integrated flushing system, the engine can be flushed quickly and thoroughly with fresh water - without having to start it. This keeps the cooling channels free of salt and deposits, which significantly increases the service life.
