The Yamaha FT8GMHL is a high-thrust outboard motor with 8 hp power that is ideal for sailing, fishing and work boats. With a weight of approx. 43 kg and an integrated carrying handle, it can be used flexibly. The 4-stroke two-cylinder engine with a displacement of 212 cm³ delivers powerful performance and impresses with low fuel consumption as well as low noise and vibration levels.
Easy manual starting is guaranteed thanks to the reliable CDI ignition. An external 12-liter fuel tank ensures a long range. With the F-N-R circuit, shallow water position and 180° steering, the FT8GMHL is suitable for both narrow harbors and open waters. The robust Yamaha technology and compact design make it the ideal solution for professional users.

With the integrated flushing system, the engine can be flushed quickly and thoroughly with fresh water - without having to start it. This keeps the cooling channels free of salt and deposits, which significantly increases the service life.
