Powerful DOHC 16 V engine with 1,898 cm³
The powerful Yamaha four-stroke outboard engine with four cylinders and a displacement of 1.9 liters is the largest engine on the market. Thanks to our continuous innovation program for product improvement, it is extremely compact. The result is amazing power, high acceleration and unbridled torque combined with eco-friendly efficiency and economy.
Lots of practical storage space
The latest GP HO has plenty of storage space so that you can take everything you need with you. In addition to large storage compartments under the seats and in the front, there is a very large and practical glove compartment.
Race-inspired pump design and intake grille
The high-performance jet pump developed and tested in racing, the impeller and the intake grille improve both acceleration and handling. The additional "grip" on the water ensures even more responsive and precise handling in all conditions.
Lightweight hull for top performance
Thanks to Yamaha's unique material technology, NanoXcel2® is an impressive 18% lighter than our revolutionary NanoXcel®, but just as stiff and strong. The material maximizes the exciting performance of the latest GP HO, delivering sensational acceleration, even sharper cornering and more stability at high speed.
Adjustable steering system derived from racing
The steering system offers a tilt-adjustable handlebar. A narrower, race-inspired design has been used for the handlebars. Together with the latest controls and grips, the rider has even better control.
RiDE® system (reversing with intuitive deceleration electronics)
The revolutionary RiDE® system guides the driving fun in an orderly fashion and ensures a good feeling of control for every driver. Simply pull the throttle on the right handle to drive forward and accelerate - pull the lever on the left handle to brake or reverse.
Enlarged rear platform and towing hook
With its comfortable three-person bench seat, large integrated mirrors, extended rear platform with large soft-touch entry step and sturdy, practical tow hook, the GP HO will delight both water sports enthusiasts and speed fanatics. The comfortable and non-slip Hydro-Turf mats are a real pleasure after a swim.
Auto-trim function with curve and start control
This exclusive, unique system on the market offers a fully automatic trim function that works independently of the efficient electronic trim control on the handlebars. When the turn control is activated, the trim is automatically shifted downwards during braking to enable sharp cornering, while the start control shifts the trim downwards to prevent the nose from rising during rapid acceleration.
Ergonomic improvements from racing
The balance and stability of the GP HO have been improved by lowering and centralizing the centre of gravity and by a narrower seat design and fully adjustable handlebars in a racing design. These measures, together with the extremely ergonomic seating position and the deeper footwells, result in perfect vehicle control
4.3-inch multifunctional color display with quick access
The clear and easy-to-read display with the associated quick access buttons makes it easier to control and monitor all on-board systems. The maximum speed and acceleration can be limited on the display or the learning (L mode) and safety settings can be activated via a PIN code. We use the latest technology for you.
